Platypus Pub/The Brew Shop

Walking the fine line between Ducks & Beavers, the owners of the Platypus Pub chose a great name for their establishment. Opened in 2011, the Platypus Pub is downstairs from The Brew Shop which sells Home Brewing Supplies as well as over 500 beers, the most in Central Oregon!

There are 15 beers on tap, which changes hourly sometimes, and the menu includes Soups, Salads, Appetizers, Sandwiches and Entrées. Soon to be included on the menu are even more sandwiches, cottage pie, pizza and BBQ!

One of the fun things to do at the Platypus other than play darts on one of their two bristle boards, is to have a meet-and-greet with brewers from around the country and enjoy tastings of said brewers' fine beers.

Above the Platypus is The Brew Shop, where home brewers can find equipment and supplies for their hobby. Also as mentioned above, there are over 500 beers from around the world for sale in their refrigerator section. On the website and in The Brew Shop you can find recipes for making several varieties of beer or you can purhcase what you need for your own recipe! They have knowledgeable staff to help with any questions you may have about brewing or just beer in general!
